In Scenarios of door access
In Scenarios of using hostel facilities involving Token Transactions
In Scenarios of door access 1. I put the CU Link and an Octopus card in my wallet and I am unable to get through the gate. Why does that happen? This is a feature intentionally adopted in many contactless smart card reader systems. You may visit the website of Octopus on the proper use of Octopus cards. Please contact the corresponding departments/ service units for assistance if you can’t gain access to the door. 3. What should I do when the error message showing “ Card locked” comes up at the reader of the door lock?
A "Card locked" message displayed at the reader of a door lock should mean that you had entered the wrong CU Link PIN many times, and the access function is blocked. CU-related functions will be blocked if you have entered the wrong CU Link PIN 3 times. You will not be able to use most CU Link related application then. Please go to the CU Link Card Centre [MAP] to reset your CU Link PIN. In Scenarios of using hostel facilities involving Token Transactions 1. Error occurs when I am using hostel facilities. Why does that happen? Please double-check if you have enough tokens in your CU Link and make sure your card has not expired. Please retry at another card reader. If there is no problem, the original card reader might be damaged. Please notify hostel staff. 3. There is transaction problem when I am trying to top-up my CU Link, what should I do? Please try to contact hostel staff if you encounter problems during topping-up of your CU Link. |
