Sports Scholarship Scheme

greendotwhite Rationale

In September 2001, CUHK launched the Sports Scholarship Scheme (SSS) to enable outstanding young men and women, and members of Hong Kong National Squad or Youth Squad, who demonstrated exceptional sporting prowess to enter CUHK. The purpose of the Scheme is to support students who show exceptional sporting ability, in order to allow them to develop their academic and sporting talents to the fullest. It strengthens the objective for combining the intellectual and sporting talents of students. The Scheme highlights CUHK's aims in emphasising both the academic and non-academic development of its students, under the spirit of providing a "balanced education" to students.
