To help needy students by providing opportunities for paid campus work, in the form of assisting University academics/administrators in their projects.
News
With effect from the academic year 2008/09, the Immigration Department has relaxed the employment restriction for non-local students. Non-local students of full-time, locally accredited programmes at degree level or above whose study period is not less than one academic year may take up part-time on-campus employment.
Nature of work
- To assist academic staff in their research projects.
- To assist administrative staff in projects which require a large task-force on a short-term basis.
- Any other job assignments as may be approved by the Committee on Student Campus Work Scheme.
Remuneration
Remuneration is at HK$50/hour (undergraduate and postgraduate) at the moment.
