Student Seminars

The annual GE Student Seminar celebrates the achievements of outstanding students in GEF and let both former and current GEF students get together, all united in a similar passion for reading classics, sharing the good works of their peers and pondering big problems in life.

At a GE Student Seminar, students are invited to present their papers, sharing the main ideas as well as their experience of composing the papers with their teachers and fellow classmates. The presentations are followed by open discussion sessions.

GE Student Seminar has been held since 2010.

• The 4th GE Student Seminar, was organized by Office of University General Education on 27 October 2012. View details

• The 3rd GE Student Seminar was organized by Office of University General Education on 8 October 2011. View details

• The 2nd GE Student Seminar was organized by Morningside College and co-organized by the Office of University General Education on 26 May 2010. Sixteen student essays were selected to be published in a booklet, among those eight of them were presented at the seminar.

• The1st GE Student Seminar was organized by S. H. Ho College and co-organized by the Office of University General Education on 16 January 2010. Fourteen student essays were selected to be published in a booklet distributed at the seminar, among those nine of them were presented at the seminar.
