Admission to the University’s undergraduate programmes can be obtained through various channels. Local students may apply for admission via the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS), Non-JUPAS (local) Admissions Scheme and Admissions for Sub-degree holders, whereas non-local students may do so by the International Students Admission Scheme and Mainland Students Admissions. JUPAS
Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)
Applicants can be admitted to the following programmes in the Faculty of Social Science (click on the programme/admission line names and JUPAS codes for more information):

Social Science (JS4801) is a broad-based admission scheme. Students admitted through this admission line will be first-year "non-majors". They will experience different social science disciplines by taking courses from the Faculty Package in Year 1 and confirm their major programme that best suits their interests and capbility. Students are allowed to choose to major in any one of the following programmes from Year 2 to Year 4: Architectural Studies, Economics, Geography and Resource Management, Government and Public Administration, Journalism and Communication, Psychology, Sociology and Urban Studies. |
